About The Village "NOAIRANA"

Location: 
North East coast, 70kms by bus from Port Vila. Tour includes all transfers. Traditional Custom Village from Atchin Island, Malekula. Malekula tribes, well known for their fierce warriors, the Big Nambas in the North and the Small Nambas in the central part of the southern area. Also known as cannibals; last reported cannibalism was 1985.

"Round Island Village Tour" about 7 to 8hrs includes:

 Pickup from your Hotel/Resort in Port Vila 8:30am in 14 seat bus.

 Experienced tour drivers, speaking English, French and Bislama.

 Regular toilet stops every 2 hours.

 Pass through many local villages.

 Stopping at Eton Beach for photo shots.

 Canoe ride in authentic warrior canoes down Epule River to our village

 Entry and invitation by chief into our custom village - experience and learn about hunting, fishing, leaf medicine, Women's house with mat and basket weaving, wood carving, food preparation, sample local foods, visit our spirit house and Men's house and the handing down of custom beliefs

 See custom warrior dances, with a chance to join.

 Lunch and light refreshments provided.

We then travel onto Havana and see the WWII museum.

Stop at "Survivor" TV series filming site. Afternoon tea supplied and this is a
great place to swim.

Drop off at your Hotel/Resort, between 4 to 4:30pm
