Tanna Lodge Soon To Open

This is to give you all Heads Up and first dose information on the newest UPMARKET BOUTIQUE Accommodation Lodge in Tanna with more updates to follow soon. Tanna Beach Resort has undergone a major rebuilding program in 2007/2008 under the new owners Hugh and Stella Lowe.  The resort is set to open its doors in late July, early August, 2008 under the new Brand name – “Tanna Lodge”.  The Lodge is located just outside of Lenakel approximately 20 minutes from the airport. The new facilities of the Resort include the following: 13 Bungalows with split king beds (whether one king-size or two singles) and the majority have) bed settees to accommodate another two guests:  Individual bungalows are large, have a separate bedroom and lounge area and a separate external (open) en suite facilities;  The bungalows are well constructed and are furnished to high standard with furniture and fittings from New Zealand.  Individual bungalows are not air conditioned, but are sited for natural sea breezes and most offer attractive views over the ocean and beach;   A fully equipped kitchen and two storey restaurant area which seats approximately 50 persons on the upper deck and a similar number in the lower bar area;  The restaurant and bar area are also suitable for conversion into small meeting rooms and the bar area extends into terraced area that surrounds the adjacent swimming pool;  A reception area and back office area are adjacent to the bar and connected by a covered walkway; A swimming pool, landscaped gardens and entrance way; and  The Resort offers good views and access to the ocean and a black sand beach.  The Resort will offer airport transfers (air conditioned mini-coach) and a variety of tours for its guests and for day visitors to Tanna.
