Guest chef Mario Alfieri (http://www.thediningroom.com.au) has completed his training of award winning Head Chef Obed Kaluatman and his kitchen staff and is set to return to Brisbane this week. Mario has been an inspiration to the team and I do hope you will drop in and sample some truly delicious Italian cuisine.

Three of our Restaurant team are beginning courses at the School of Tourism and Hospitality at the end of the month and we wish them every success with their studies.

Michael Johnson has returned to the hospitality industry as the new General Manager of Breakas after a lengthy stint in New Zealand building bars and nightclubs and cooking for Oracle BMW Racing in the USA. He cut his teeth in the industry as a teenager at his parent's hotel The Kaiviti and has a great deal of experience working in Vanuatu. We wish him all the best in his new role.
