Korean Broadcast Company visits Vanuatu

Such Vanuatu imagery and livelihood captures the heart of Asia and afar

The Vanuatu Tourism Office has had the pleasure of assisting Korean Broadcasting System which is a telecasting company in Korea that shoots footages of destinations world-wide for various TV channels in Korea. The crew arrived last week on Monday 10th December and documented a report on Vanuatu partly with a theme “Immigrated Koreans into Vanuatu”.  This is their second trip to Vanuatu after the first generic documentary which is reported to have encouraged a positive result from the Korean market who are wanting to know more about the destination.

With the assistance from Air Vanuatu, the production crew traveled to Tanna to capture footages of Volcano Yasur, cultural villages, white grass plains, wild horses, and more.

The Korean Broadcasting System footages and report will be airing on every TV channels in Korea as a year 2007 and New Year 2008 feature destination which sets to stimulate further interest amongst the Asian, and especially the Korean audience.

Vanuatu Tourism Office would like to thank all parties involved in assisting with making the Korean Broadcasting System media trip to Vanuatu another success!
