New foreign currency exchange service launches in Santo

A new foreign currency exchange company located in the Sancorp Office has recently opened for business in Luganville town on the island of Espiritu Santo which is the second largest commercial center after Port Vila. This is the first foreign exchange service to be set up in Luganville which is set to make life easier for international visitors traveling into Santo to exchange their home currency.

The company is managed and operated by Sancorp Limited and offers competitive buying and selling rates. The friendly staff at Sancorp exchanges all major currencies such as Australian , New Zealand, American, Fijian and Canadian dollars, Central Pacific francs, Euros, Great Britain pounds and Japanese Yen and currently opens 5 days a week from 9am – 5pm.  In mid January 2008, however, they will extend to opening hours everyday of the week from 9 am to 9 pm to meet a growing demand in currency exchange especially from direct overseas flights to & from Espiritu Santo.

Sancorp Limited also has an Internet Café and a full secretarial service business center which is opened to all tourists and the general public at the same times. The company is located in the SANCORP office, Morrin Building, a few meters walk from Hotel Santo and LCM store.
