Location

Positioned along the white sand Tara Beach, nestled in a peaceful cove of Mele Bay, Tara Beach Resort is approx 20 mins drive from downtown Port Vila and only 15 mins from the airport.  At Tara, you'll experience the true 'island lifestyle'.

We are also just down the road from the popular tourist attractions of Mele Cascade Waterfalls, The Secret Garden, Seahorse Ranch and Mele Village, Vanuatu biggest village populated with over 3500 people.

Accommodation

We have ten (10) lovely bungalows, all positioned along the waterfront.  They have 2 bedrooms, bathroom, lounge area, breezy front patios and all have absolute ocean views. You can wake up in the morning and look straight to the water !

Each bungalow can sleep up to 6 people and you can have a choice of queen or single beds and bunks. The bungalows are roomy and clean, with all linen supplied and have tea & coffee making facilities, bar fridge and TV/DVD player.

Return Airport Transfer

We offer airport transfers as well as a daily air-conditioned, low-cost shuttle bus service to town and nearby attractions.

Dining

Feel like some fresh lobster or reef fish?  Our open-air restaurant serves a fresh daily catch of some of the best Vanuatu seafood, as well as mouth-watering Santo Beef and many other local and international dishes. The restaurant is open from breakfast, right through the day for light snacks, meals and a beachfront dinner with live music some nights.

Come to Melanesian Feast night and sample the local foods. Freshly prepared, island-style, you'll sample Tuluk, Laplap, and lots of othr delicious local specialties, along with a huge buffet of fresh salads, vegetables and fruits.

And if you like music, will entertain you with everything from gospel to rock and roll and local tunes.  A night on the Tara Beach Restaurant dance floor with the live music playing will be a night to remember!
