Erakor Island is a private 16 acre island located in the clear blue waters of Erakor lagoon only 5 minutes from Port Vila and a further 4 minute free ferry ride from the mainland (24 hour service). The resort features 21 unique waterfront bungalows set amongst tropical palm trees offering spectacular views and the sounds of water lapping at your shore. Escape from reality to total relaxation - as there are no TVs, phones or faxes in any of the rooms - and simply enjoy the natural surroundings from your private balcony. Guests have free use of watersports - catamaran, glass bottom paddle skis, outrigger canoes, snorkeling gear, etc. Scuba Diving, and fishing charters can be arranged by island staff. Other facilities include a volleyball court, tour desk and board games. Baby sitters can be arranged at any time. Erakor's walking path takes you through the tropical rain forests to the isolated beaches at the far end of the island. All our bungalows are scattered along the waters edge and offer total relaxation as each has a private ensuite, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, ceiling fan, iron and board, hairdryer and private balcony to enjoy the balmy sea breezes. Tastefully decorated with plenty of natural light and fresh air, your bungalow is serviced daily by our friendly crew and room service meals are available throughout the day. Double story waterfront family bungalows are also available. These have 3 additional single beds in an upstairs attic style room. Roxy's on the Lagoon, our famous over the water restaurant and bar, is open for breakfast (served until late!) lunch and dinner. Speciality of the House, our enormous and varied seafood platter, changes every night for the freshest and most variety of seafood available in Vanuatu, served for 2 only. Daily Special's Board.
