The Vanuatu Tourism Office now has a
new General Manager, Mrs Annie Niatu. She was appointed by the VTO
Board of Directors on Friday 8th February, 2008.
Her appointment is for a period of three years,
after occupying the position of Marketing Manager for the Vanuatu Tourism Office in the
past 11 months.
Annie is a graduate of the Lincoln University in New Zealand
with a Masters Degree in Tourism Management. Though Annie is new to the
position but not to the Vanuatu Tourism Office and industry,
Annie has
previously worked with Island Safaris and the VTO, at the time called
National Tourism Office of Vanuatu. Experiences over the past 15 years in
tourism, has equipped her with a wealth of knowledge & professionalism
which the VTO is fortunate to take onboard. The Vanuatu Tourism Office
believes that with Annie’s range of experiences, skills, and firm leading
role in the position, the VTO is prospective in achieving its aims and
goals to uphold Vanuatu as the best tourist destination in the region and
